Good basic breakfast. Nothing to write home about but nice server. Portions were a bit small.

Great service, pleasant atmosphere, nice and small. Outstanding food!!! We would return in a minute!!!

Was in for dinner yesterday after a long day of ice fishing in the area. I forget the name of the burger I had, but it was MASSIVE. Definitely the best burger I've ever had. Will be back again on the next trip up to Bancroft!

Great little place doesn't look like much from outside but don't be fooled. My buddy and I each got the CBC and we both loved it. Best chicken sandwich, wish I was eating another one right now.

Bancroft is lucky to have this great little place! The fries, sandwiches, breakfast - all great & they serve the best tasting glass of water I've ever had.

Great liitle spot. Don't be decieved by the exterior of the building, inside is clean and modern. The food was fantastic, with friendly polite servers. Will definetly go back again when im in the bancroft area.

My friends and I were a bit sceptical about the outside appearance, looked like a mom and pop chinese food joint. But, PLEASE DO ENTER! Gorgeous, comfy, modern/rustic furnishings. Owned and run by husband and wife, HOW ROMANTIC! She is lovely and he is brilliant! The food is above par. I got the stuffed fish and sweet potato fries.My friends got:Hot beef sandwich and poutine. Spicy Peach Chicken.Beef Yorkshire Pudding and saladEverything is home cooked! Everything is freaking delicious. I was having a serious, "Harry Met Sally" moment, eating my meal, and my friends won't let me live it down! Hahaha! The portions are massive, in the best way! I was recommending the Eagles Nest to everyone I walked by while I was in Bancroft. I recommend it to you and everyone. I would eat there EVERY MEAL, while in Bancroft.

This is the best restaurant in town! Trust me, you won't be dissapointed!

I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else. Two days ago had a massive wrap and fries. Super delish.Today my friend and I went through the drive through at Timmys, my friend got a wrap, and it was tiny compared to the wraps at "The Eagles Nest ". Thank you to the Eagles Nest, I will only eat, Eagles Nest wraps.

I am a bit of a foodie and so picky about quality I can honestly say that the breakfast I enjoyed here today was the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The food tasted like your mama made it. I had the eggs Benedict on the freshest baked biscuits that completely melted in my mouth omg. The French toast was also excellent. My boyfriend had eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, rye toast and he also raved over the flavour and freshness! If you want a real breakfast this is the place. Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu. Thank you!

The food was amazing and clearly home cooked!! The kids chicken strips were actual slices of chicken breast, hand-breaded and fried. The service was great, the coffee was delicious. Absolutely wonderful experience and thank you for not complaining about my noisy kids. Definitely would recommend to a friend.

Excellent meal and service parking can be an issue.

BEST restaurant in town, GREAT value, very family friendly, only restaurant I trust with feeding my infant, NO from-a-box junk that costs you +$20/plate, however I recommend trying to spend +$20/sitting as you'll definitely be, full, satisfied, and taking home some quality eats :-) It is a small place with few hands on deck, but that's part of their charm :-) I recommend calling ahead for availability

We get to Bancroft at the end of September every year, and have tried most of the restaurants in town. This was our first time at the Eagles Nest, and were not disappointed. My wife had the fish and chips which she said was one of the best she ever had, and I had the hot chicken sandwich which was also excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good meal with generous portions..As a side note; The Apple Crumble and the Date Squares are amazing!

Awesome food and even better customer service. We showed up with not much notice with a group of 22 that was initially supposed to be 12. They sat us all without issues and despite the group size served us very quickly. Would definitely go again. Prices are very very fair.

First time at this interesting little place. So cosy inside and the food is all home cooked from what I could gather. Best chicken caesar wrap I've had to date and the apple crumble was delicious. Very friendly service too. However, the veggie burger, although very tasty, needs to be crispier on the outside as it falls apart a little to easily..

Wonderful family dining with homemade fries to die for! Prices very reasonable and a kids menu anyone can order from.

Came from out of town, hollandaise was amazing, the biscuits were amazing, but there wasn't a lot on my plate for the $ since I opted for no meat. Could have added more potatoes! Still a wonderful, cozy little place. Still dreaming about those eggs benny!

We ate here for lunch on Aug. 8, 2019. Excellent service and food was all home cooked.My wife had the eggs Benedict and I had the beef dip with fries- Delicious! Don't hesitate to stop here while visiting or driving through, it's worth the drive off hwy 28!
